Infinite Hope...

My individual video contribution to the 140 minute plus "Infinite Hope" originally live streamed on Wednesday, June 24th, 2020.

“We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.”

— Martin Luther King, Jr.

"Infinite Hope" was a collective of Irish traditional musicians, singers and dancers performing in support of our Black and Brown brothers and sisters in their long struggle for social justice, human rights and freedom from oppression.

Prior to the live stream, I had not seen any of the other contributions, nor had I really seen mine as I had my eyes closed 🙂

But my ears, heart, and mind is wide open. This has to end.

Just how many centuries is enough?

To paraphrase Michelle Obama, race and racism is the reality that many of us grow up with no matter how well-meaning we think we might be — but it shouldn’t just be on people of color to deal with — we all have to.

And we all have to change our lives to do so…

Hup!! (and Hope)…
